My Approach & Specialties

My Approach

I use a person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach, in which therapy is a collaborative process. My goal is to help you align with your values and become the best version of yourself. Working together, we will create an individualized treatment plan, which will reflect your unique needs. Throughout the therapy process, I will incorporate different interventions from evidence-based modalities such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and others. Through these modalities I will teach you skills and interventions that will help you to find peace and appreciation for your mind and body connection.

My Specialties

I work with adult women, ages 18 and up, struggling with life transitions, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more. I have a focus in eating disorders, body image concerns, and low self esteem. If you are interested in incorporating your faith into your healing journey, I will certainly support you in exploring this as well.

I have experience providing therapy in the partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), outpatient (OP), and primary care settings.

As an eating disorder provider, I practice from a HAES (Health At Every Size) and weight neutral lens. I believe that multidisciplinary collaboration is extremely important so I work closely with your registered dietitian, physician, and any other members of your healthcare team.
